European Automotive Forum
The European Automotive Forum is an initiative of FEBIAC, the Belgian Automobile Federation, with the support of ACEA, the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.
Organized in the context of the annual European Motor Show Brussels, in the heart of the capital of Europe, the European Automotive Forum is a platform where EU policymakers, Member State representatives and automotive decision makers can meet up, debate relevant topics and discover the latest automobile products and innovations at the European Motor Show Brussels.
After a succesful first edition in 2008 on the hotly debated 'Cars & CO2 legislation', the 2010 edition of European Automotive Forum focussed on 'Low Emission Cars: Turning the hype into reality in the EU'.
On 14 January 2010, automotive industry keynote speakers gave insight into current R&D, activities and challenges towards developing and deploying Low Emission Cars. Furthermore, concrete projects in several EU Member States have been presented and evaluated on their impact, feasibility and implementation timetable.
During the closing debate, representatives of the European Commission, automotive, fuel & electricity industries and NGOs exchanged ideas on the need for fuel and technology standards, funds and partnerships at EU level.
Over 200 high level policy makers and automotive decision makers took part in this event. Feel free to take a look at the conference presentations, participant list and pictures.
In short, the European Automotive Forum is the place to be to catch up with the latest automotive developments, meet high-level policymakers and automotive decision makers, exchange policy issues and best practices, develop business opportunities and expand your network.
We look forward to seeing you at the next edition of the European Automotive Forum at Brussels Expo!
